This is a list of former members who have graduated. Members in this list have either participated in their senior year, participated for more than 1 year, or continued to support the team even after they left.
We wish them all the best of luck, and hope they'll stay in touch!
Note: Years in parentheses represent years on our former team, 4495 Awesome Bots!

Jolie, 2017-2023 olie completed all 6 years of her FIRST experience with this team, which she holds near and dear to her heart. She functioned as the main programmer, though she started off in a more humble setting of resident CAD designer and one of the builders/drivers. Outside of robotics, you can find her noodling on a piano, drilling passages on viola, speeding by on roller blades, or, if you're lucky, trying a new trick on her Chinese yoyo(s). Fun fact: Robotics (and this team) is the main reason she wishes to major in engineering and one of the large reasons she can't choose between Aerospace and Mechanical engineering!
We wish you the best of luck in college! Note: Most of these bios weren't written by the people themselves, but in the rare case that they are... perhaps they're a bit too long. Oops! |

Kevin, one of the original founding members of Awesome Bots 4495 and this team, has completed an astounding 9 years of robotics. He likes Asian soup and food. He is very old and has white hair. Kevin is a builder by blood, but he has always been one to help out with the team. Jerry wants to sell his left kidney for some odd reason.

Jonathan has done a whopping 8 years of FIRST robotics and is a refreshingly honest person. He is very good at programming. He also likes to eat pho.

Elaina participated in 6 years of FIRST robotics. She was one of the original members on Critical Overload who started on FLL team Awesome Bots. She has been learning German since Kindergarten. She is better at driving cars than driving robots. Substantially better. Substantially.

Mireya, (2016-)2017-2018
Mireya did 2 years of robotics. She loves Disney, ballet, and spending time with her friends. She likes to bring her ukulele to meetings, but she unfortunately can't bring her cello. She likes to work on the non-technical stuff that everyone else forgot about.

Rishabh, (2016-)2017-2019
Rishabh did 5 years of FIRST. He is our resident short person and vegetarian. He loves the violin, tinkering with electrical parts, food, and being under 5 feet tall! (Note: This Bio was from 2019, last time I checked he's taller!:O)

Robert joined us in his third year of FTC (he spent two years with the 8534 Mechalodons). He is an avid composer; and likes to curl; play the piano, soccer, and basketball; and paint. He is a main programmer, but is very involved with building and design as well. Our most experienced still teachers us new things every meeting. He listens to everyone, and makes everyone try.
Robert was our first alumni:) Good luck in college! Update: Robert may have just graduated from college. Congratulations, and enjoy the road that is ahead! |
Olivia joined us for her 4th year doing FTC. She loves theatre and acting and over the summer she had the opportunity to travel to London and Scotland to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. If it was possible and/or healthy to live the rest of her life on boba tea, poke and mochi she would.
Olivia is our second alumna! Good luck in college! |
Adrian was a main programmer on the team. He is a Former Awesome Bots and Critical Overload team member. Now, he is at NC State University studying Computer Science.
We'll reach your dream of Worlds one day:) |
